After solving the case of the Dragon King in the Divine Capital, Di Renjie is rewarded by the Emperor with the divine weapon, the Kang Longjian. However, Empress Wu Zetian becomes jealous and plots against Di Renjie to steal the Kang Longjian. She assembles a group of individuals with supernatural abilities, known as the “Strange People Group,” and orders Wei Chi Zhenjin to lead them.
