What do we know about The Strangers: Chapter 2?

The first film in the new trilogy of Strangers movies, The Strangers: Chapter 1, was released in United States theaters last month.

Despite receiving mostly negative reviews from critics and fans, it still made approximately $35.4 million at the global box office off an estimated $8.5 million budget.

β€œAfter their car breaks down in an eerie small town, a young couple are forced to spend the night in a remote cabin,” the official synopsis reads. β€œPanic ensues as they are terrorized by three masked strangers who strike with no mercy and seemingly no motive in THE STRANGERS ― CHAPTER 1, the chilling first entry of this upcoming horror feature film series.”

Directed by Harlin, the script for The Strangers: Chapter 1 was written by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland. Along with Petsch, it stars Froy Gutierrez as Ryan, Rachel Shenton as Debbie, Gabriel Basso as Gregory, Ema Horvath as Shelly, Richard Brake as Sheriff Rotter, Ella Bruccoleri as Jasmine, Matúő LajčÑk as Scarecrow, Olivia Kreutzova as Dollface, and Letizia Fabbri as Pin-Up Girl.
